Our program is based on a philosophy of empowering leaders through challenging assignments, functional and leadership training, clear objectives, feedback, and coaching. </p><p>The Internship is a 10-12 week program focused on providing college students with an immersive and practical business experience. It allows students to develop leadership, technical, and communication skills as well as broaden their understanding of the concepts learned in the classroom by implementing them with the Johnson &amp; Johnson Innovative Medicine Operations team. </p><p></p><p><b>You will be responsible for:</b> </p><ul><li><p>Delivering insights and recommendations to shape strategy for complex business issues with significant exposure to leaders and cross-functional matrix partners. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Demonstrating in-depth understanding of critical issues, decision-making, and project management skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Leveraging strong problem solving, organizational, communication and analytical skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Driving innovation and collaborating across a matrixed organization. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Leverage technical skills to design and implement tactical solutions. </p></li></ul><p></p><p>Over the course of the internship, you will have the opportunity to gain diverse experiences and network across the J&amp;J Innovative Medicine North American Operations organization including areas within: Strategic Customer Group (SCG), Scientific Affairs (SA), Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS), the Established Products Group (EPG), U.S. Government Affairs &amp; Health Policy and U.S. Advocacy and State Affairs. </p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications / Requirements:</b> </p><p><b>Required</b> </p><ul><li><p>U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1-B status) now or in the future. (Students currently in the country on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT require future sponsorship for long term employment). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate university program at the time of the internship, and not graduating during the internship duration </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>By start date, candidate must have completed at least two (2) college semesters </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Minimum GPA of 3.0 </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the internship </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to provide own transportation to/from the work location (no full-time remote option) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to self-manage housing needs </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to relocate to assigned site location: Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA (candidate preference will be considered). </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Passion for improving healthcare. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to think strategically, and influence and execute a plan effectively. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to make Credo-based decisions and develop a Credo-based culture. </p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred</b> </p><ul><li><p>Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Ability to balance multiple deliverables and initiatives while delivering results </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Self-starter who works independently while contributing to team goals </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Act with speed, learning agility, and intellectual curiosity. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>A strong interest in healthcare/pharmaceuticals </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Majors in (but not limited to): </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Forecasting, Analytics, Sales) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Supply Chain Management </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Sciences (Biology, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical/Health Sciences) </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Economics / Health Economics  </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Public Health / Health Science / Healthcare Policy </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Data Science / Biostatistics / Statistics  </p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p>Johnson &amp; Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
