The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (DOT), is accepting applications for paid Repair Seasonal Worker positions within the Bureau of Highway Operations.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
Anticipated start date: May 2026 through August 31, 2026
SCHEDULE: 8 Hours/Day, 40 Hours/Week, First Shift, Monday - Friday
LOCATIONS: Various, see below
Repair Shops: Brookfield, Colchester, Darien, East Granby, East Haven, Milford, Old Saybrook, Putnam, Rocky Hill, Waterbury, Willington, Winchester

THE ROLE:
As a Repair Seasonal Worker, you will have the opportunity to explore career paths and obtain valuable paid work experience in the maintenance field. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required and must be maintained. Duties for Repair Seasonal Worker may include:

Maintenance Repair:
Performing light building maintenance
May receive some training and provide general assistance with semi-skilled equipment repairs
Assistance with shop records and diagnostic programs
Other related duties as assigned
