Analyst/ Associate: Equity Research - Brokers, Asset Managers, & Exchanges
<div class="job-description-body__internal job__external js-job-description-body-internal"><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Job Description:</b></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p>The #1 Extel ranked Brokers, Asset Managers, & Exchanges Research team covers over 30 stocks including Blackstone, BlackRock and Robinhood with high investor interest, secular growth and an IPO pipeline. We are looking for someone with a strong analytical skillset and a passion for investing.</p><p></p><p>We are targeting a candidate with 1-3 years of experience in finance. In the role, the candidate will work closely with both the Senior Analyst and 4 other team members in all aspects (research, financial modeling, idea generation, corporate access, IPOs), </p><p></p><p><b><u>Responsibilities</u></b></p><ul><li>Perform complex financial modeling & valuation work</li><li>Write regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratch</li><li>Develop databases integral to our research product</li><li>Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment</li><li>Work with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themes</li><li>Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies</li><li>Participate and contribute to client meetings and events</li><li>Attend meetings and interact with key opinion leaders</li><li>Closely follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity</li><li>Seek out new, unusual sources of information</li><li>Interact regularly with clients</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Qualifications</u></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience</li><li>Interest in the financial sector and markets</li><li>Min 1-3 years of experience focusing on equity research, financial services, buy side, or investment banking</li><li>Strong writing and modeling skills. Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel</li><li>Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment</li><li>Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal</li><li>Must enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field research</li><li>Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics</li><li>Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task</li><li>Must work well in a collaborative team environment</li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Shift:</b></p>1st shift (United States of America)<p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b>Hours Per Week: </b></p>40<p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: inherit;"></p><p style="text-align: left;"><b></b></p></div>
