In addition to its full-time faculty, the College of Law regularly employs distinguished lawyers and academics as adjunct professors. The College of Law is currently accepting applications for adjunct faculty with a particular need for the following specialty:</font></span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><span style="color: #212121"><font size="2">1) Art Law</font></span></span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; line-height: normal"><span style="font-family: Arial"><span style="color: #212121"><font size="2">2) Federal Indian Law</font></span></span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; line-height: normal"><span style="color: #212121; font-family: Arial"><font size="2">3) Real Estate Law</font></span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; line-height: normal"><span style="color: #212121; font-family: Arial"><font size="2">4) Trial Advocacy Workshop</font></span></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; line-height: normal"><font size="2"><span style="color: #212121; font-family: Arial">5) </span><span style="color: #212121; font-family: Arial">Dispute Resolution Team Coaches (Arbitrations, Mediations, Negotiations, and Client Counseling)</span></font></p><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt; font-family: Aptos, sans-serif; line-height: 18.4px"><span style="font-family: Arial"><span style="line-height: 13.8px"><font size="2"><br>Classes will meet in the Law Building in Champaign, typically once or twice per week between mid-August and early December.<br><br>A JD and two or more years of legal experience are required; prior teaching experience and a current law license are strongly preferred.<br><br><strong>Appointment Information:</strong><br>These are five to ten percent Academic positions appointed for the Fall 2026 semester. The anticipated start date is in August 2026. Salary is between $3000 and $8000, depending on credit hours.
