Job Description
The Manager, PriceForecastingis responsible forHumira Gross-to-Net(GTN)sales planning and reporting, estimatingrebates/discountsand providingad hoc financial analysis as needed.The Manager, PriceForecastingisalsoresponsible for providing financial leadership to theMarket Access and Brandteam in development of the Plans, LRPs and LBEs. This position reports to theAssociate Director, Humira Price Forecasting. The Manager, PriceForecastingis expected tooperateindependently toaccomplishthe goals and responsibilities of the position; however, alignment with theAssociate Directoris critical due to the nature of the role.In addition, the Manager has a high degree of freedom to independently set priorities so that both planned and unplanned departmentalobjectivesare achieved. This position supports and communicates with all levels of operating andfinancial managementon an ongoing basis. Responsibilities Supporttheplanning and reporting for Humira rebates,discounts, andutilizationfor allfinancial cycles. Prepare all required schedulesandleveragefinancial systems (BPC, QlikView,PowerBI)for monthly close andfinancial cycles. Work closely with Market Access and Pricing to review theGross-to-Net (GTN)forecast. Understand and discuss all price related variancesfor month-end close and Plan/LRP/LBE. Conduct price scenario analysis for various planning cycles. Providesupportfor theHumirareserve balance sheet process. Work with forecasting and commercial finance to present aconsolidatednet sales message. Additionalad-hoc project work and analysis. Manage a complex erosion model to forecastchannel-based demand in close partnership with Volume Forecasting and multiple business partners for data feeds.
Qualifications
Qualifications 7+ years of progressive Accounting/Financerequired BA/BS in Finance or Accounting. MBA/CPA preferred Prefer experience inPricing,Forecasting, or FP&A The ability to interact with and support senior level management and to partner effectively and independently in a matrix organization Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving, planning and decision-making skills Extensive interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills including a high energy level Requires an ability to respond to change and reprioritization to satisfy demands of a rapidly changing environment. Strong Excel and PowerPoint technical and content strategy skills;BPCknowledge is a plus The ability to manage and coordinate multiple activities and shifting priorities under tighttimeframes A highly motivated self-starter who can translate broad directions into high quality analytical output Proficient in creating andmaintaininghighly complexExcel financial models Open tonew ideas, creative andutilizesvalue-added principles in approach
