Provide strategic leadership in budget management for a portfolio of IT projects supporting R&D stakeholders. Lead planning and execution of portfolio and project budget within the constraints of schedule and scope while adhering to Corporate Financial policies for IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.

• Analyze and report on portfolio budget health enabling leadership and project teams to make data-drivendecisions.

• Generate and analyzeforecasts, prepare variance explanations, andidentifyrisks and opportunitiesat the project and portfoliolevel.

• Lead aspects ofannualplanning cycles, including long-range plan, capital plan, and functional plan in close partnership with functional leaders.

• Oversee and manage IT Project Managers in monthly forecasting of project and functional budget ensuring adherence to submission timelines.

• Submitfunding requestswith accompanying submissiondocumentationper policy.

• Collaboratecross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and internal IT project teams ensuringclear and effective communication among stakeholders.

• Partner with IT Business Operations teams to drive continuous improvement in processesand tools.

• Adhere to financial policies and procedures when planning and executing projects.

• Ensure resource management, project accountability, and compliance with organizational standards.

• Successfully perform all responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation and autonomy

• Bachelor's Degreein Business, Computer Science or related discipline with 8 years experience; Master's Degree with 7 years experience; PhD with 3 years experience.
• Experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, and experience managing projects.
