Job Description
Provide strategic leadership in budget management for a portfolio of IT projects supporting R&D stakeholders. Lead planning and execution of portfolio and project budget within the constraints of schedule and scope while adhering to Corporate Financial policies for IT projects. Responsibilities Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.Quality Management: Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Analyze and report on portfolio budget health enabling leadership and project teams to make data-drivendecisions. Generate and analyzeforecasts, prepare variance explanations, andidentifyrisks and opportunitiesat the project and portfoliolevel. Lead aspects ofannualplanning cycles, including long-range plan, capital plan, and functional plan in close partnership with functional leaders. Oversee and manage IT Project Managers in monthly forecasting of project and functional budget ensuring adherence to submission timelines. Submitfunding requestswith accompanying submissiondocumentationper policy. Collaboratecross-functionally with Finance, Procurement, and internal IT project teams ensuringclear and effective communication among stakeholders. Partner with IT Business Operations teams to drive continuous improvement in processesand tools. Adhere to financial policies and procedures when planning and executing projects. Ensure resource management, project accountability, and compliance with organizational standards. Successfully perform all responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation and autonomy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degreein Business, Computer Science or related discipline with 8 years experience; Master's Degree with 7 years experience; PhD with 3 years experience.
- Experience in project management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, and experience managing projects.
