The person will work with vendors and internal teams to make sure products are launched smoothly and on time.</p><p></p><p><b> Job Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>End-to-end management of vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance verification</li><li>Collaborate with internal merchandising organization and external partners / vendors to drive operational efficiency</li><li>Manage an offshore team (No direct reports) to deliver on vendor and article onboarding function accountable for SLA, Incidents, accuracy and Turnaround time metrics.</li><li> Understand the nuances of article and vendor setup in retail systems (SAP), ensuring accurate product master data (pricing, pack sizes, UoM, tax, attributes, hierarchies, etc.)</li><li>Handle vendor queries, escalations, and follow-ups to ensure timely resolution</li><li>Maintain and update vendor/retail databases and provide regular status reports with SLA reporting</li><li>Ensure new articles are correctly configured for sales channels (stores, online, distribution centers)</li><li>Provide insights from vendor and product data to support merchandising, stock planning, and decision-making</li><li>Participate in process improvements, system updates, and retail operations projects</li><li>Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and quality standards in vendor and retail processes</li><li>Support inventory alignment, stock planning, and smooth product launches</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Qualifications & Experience:</b></p><ul><li>8 years of professional experience in merchandising, retail operations, or supply chain</li><li>Proven experience in vendor management, including onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes</li><li>Solid understanding of article setup/product master data management in retail systems</li><li>Operational experience around SLA management, deadlines, merchant interactions and escalation management</li><li>Offshore / Onshore Team management</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel and other tools used for vendor/retail management</li><li>Key understanding of retail operations, including handling product articles, inventory management, store operations and vendor coordination</li><li>Experience in process transitions or retail systems is an added advantage along with system upgrades</li><li>Excellent communication skills & a strong team player mindset</li><li>Hands-on experience in tools like SAP and other retail/vendor management systems</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support cross-functional initiatives</li><li>Knowledge or exposure on Master data management will be an added advantage</li><li>Ability to keep track of multiple items/files and their timelines</li><li>Vendor Portal Management experience highly preferred.</li></ul><p></p><ul></ul><p><b> Skills Required:</b></p><ul><li>Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills</li><li>Detail-oriented and process-disciplined</li><li>Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI and data handling</li><li>Familiarity with retail systems (SAP - preferred, JDA, Oracle)</li><li>Good understanding of retail business processes</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support cross-functional initiatives</li><li>Excellent communication skills and demonstrate patience keeping balance between with merchant and vendor needs</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.</span></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p> In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJs Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $103,000.00 - $131,500.00
