FIELD TECHNICIAN II
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform maintenance, training, mechanical, electronics, and IT networking related sustainment.
Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs and tests various types of electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment and related devices.
Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles to put equipment in operational condition and solve moderately complex problems.
Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment.
Modifies circuitry to improve performance.
Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.
May provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel.
Performs preventative maintenance.
Execute installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and perform preventive maintenance actions on a variety of systems belonging to the Elevated Sensors family of systems.
Detect, isolate, and correct faults in hardware systems and individual components.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
EXPERIENCE
1-3 years of directly related experience supporting engineering operations.
Must be a US Citizen
Must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance
