Clinical Research RN, Adult Oncology - Outpatient



Practices within the scope of regulations outlined in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Responsible for evaluating eligibility of oncology patients to participate in clinical trials and to coordinate the care of those patients enrolled based on the IRB, FDA and sponsor guidelines. Serves as a patient advocate by upholding the core values of Covenant Health System. Moderate supervision required.

  • This is anonsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.


  • Candidates must reside within commutable distanceof the following office location:


  • Texas: Lubbock



Required Qualifications:




  • Must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the State of Texas. Upon Hire: Texas Registered Nurse License


  • Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


  • Upon Hire: Chemotherapy Certification from the Oncology Nursing Society


  • 3 or more years of nursing experience


  • 2 or more years of oncology nursing experience



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Upon Hire: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
