The MetrologyTeam Leadis responsible forproviding guidance and direction for the department by ensuring that workflow is prioritized and that processes are being followed according to protocol. This position acts as a resource to personnel and as a liaison between management and staff, as well as helping with communications between Production, Metrology and Maintenance. The Team lead is also responsible for calibrations, troubleshooting and helping other team members as needed.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Reliability and Infrastructure Services and is part of the Manufacturing and Operations job family located in Fargo, ND and will be an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Perform and oversee all metrology tasks, including training of staff and completion of deviation assessment.
- Organizes and prioritizes workflow within the group and communicates within and with the maintenance team and production departments to ensure that all calibrations are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage outsourced service providers and work with the procurement team on long-term contract negotiations with the providers.
The essential requirements of the job include: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- 5+ years of metrology experience in a regulated environment.
- Understanding of Good Documentation Practices and ability to adhere to it.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: - Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 20lbs.
- Bending, squatting, sitting
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Experience with CAPAs, Change Controls, and writing SOPs.
