Recruiter, Veteran and Special Populations

<dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt>
<dd><p>The position will lead targeted recruitment of veterans, active-duty military, and military-affiliated students, both locally and overseas, while also promoting and recruiting for Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) programs. Special emphasis will be placed on high-demand certificate programs. The position will also engage special populations and develop strategic partnerships with community organizations, grants, and resources.<br><br> </p></dd>
<dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><p style="margin: 0;">Bachelor’s degree <span style="color: inherit;">in education, communications, social sciences, business, marketing, STEM, or a related field is required. </span>Three (3) years of full-time experience in education or recruitment required. Relevant experience includes secondary education, higher education, sales, community outreach, program coordination, or developing outreach programs. <dt><h2>Position Specific Essential Duties</h2></dt>
<dd><p></p><ol><li>Design and implement outreach activities for veterans/active military populations.</li><li>Develop and execute targeted outreach for CEWD and short-term credentialing programs, with emphasis on high-demand fields </li><li>Assist with the development and implementation of campus and college-wide recruitment plans.</li><li>Establish and maintain working relationships with veterans/military organizations, CEWD leadership, academic program coordinators, and community agencies.</li><li>Develop partnerships with community organizations, grants, and service providers to increase access and support for special populations.</li><li>Visit military sites and disseminate CCBC recruitment and outreach materials.</li><li>Coordinate information sessions, on-campus recruitment programs, and special events.</li><li>Meet with prospective students to discuss pre-admissions processes and procedures.</li><li>Manage follow-up communications with prospective students via phone, email, instant messaging, and social media.</li><li>Represent CCBC at college, education, and career fairs, as well as community and professional events.</li><li>Identify, target, and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Work independently and collaboratively on special and ongoing projects.</li><li>Assist the Assistant Director, Admissions with program development, strategic planning, and monitoring progress toward departmental goals.</li></ol> </dd>
